Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Claude Nyamugabo appointed a local organizing committee of the CAN 2015 in DRC (COLCAN - DRC 2015). It is Moses Katumbi Chapwe, governor of Katanga Province and President of TP Mazembe, which was placed at the head of that committee. The committee includes about 40 members. It would include the task of preparing the dossier of the candidacy of the DRC and in monitoring. Which file must be filed with the FCA during the month of September 2010. The bid is supported by the Congolese firm American Intercontinental Development Corporation (IDC) which provides an envelope of 2.300 billion. CAF will decide on the country that will host the competition at its next meeting.
The boss of TP has Mazemebe 1st Vice-President, Louis Yongo Bomongo. Bartholomew Okito Oleka is 2nd Vice-president, Constant Omari Selemani is 3rd. Jean-Willy Tshibala Kalonji is fourth vice-president. The Secretary General is entrusted to Laurent N'Kwim Lay.
